July 20-24 • One-on-one sessions with Claims Helpers
One-on-one sessions are available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from July 20 to July 24.
The Claims Period is now open. Claimants have until July 27, 2028 to submit a Claim for compensation.
Claims Helpers will be available in person to provide free information and one-on-one support related to the Federal Indian Hospitals Settlement Claims Process.
Support is available at your own pace. You can ask questions, learn more about the Claims Process, and receive help understanding the Claim Form.
Members from surrounding communities are welcome.

Registration is encouraged but not required. When you register, you are letting us know you are interested in attending the session.
After you have registered to attend the session, you will receive an email closer to the session date with the option to book a one-on-one appointment with a Claims Helper. One-on-one services are optional and you do not need to book an appointment to attend the session.

Claimant Support Sessions provide free, one-on-one support from Claims Helpers in a safe and respectful setting. Support may include:
Everyone moves through the Claims Process differently. Claims Helpers will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Claims Helpers do not decide compensation and cannot provide legal advice or confirm eligibility.

If you do not have identification or documents, you can still attend a session and speak with a Claims Helper about available support.
If you need additional support such as translation for languages other than English or French, sign language interpretation, wheelchair or other accessibility needs, call the Info Line at 1-888-592-9101 and press 2 to speak with a Claims Helper.
